Sometimes I really wish I had my tonsils removed. I have been sick more than my kids. I have had the stomach virus and then this past week I have had a throat infection. And I wonder why I can't keep up, I am always sick. It really is not easy to take care of children and yourself. Of course I come last as usual, last to get dressed, last to take a shower, last to eat, last to sleep. The list goes on. Hopefully I will not be sick anymore or at least till the next month.
Potty training has been going well. Well till yesterday something happened to my sweet innocent 2 yr old....An accident. Two of them. I woke up from a desperately needed nap to a crying child, Klara. Went in to get her and smelt something awful. Checked her and nothing there, OH NO!! MITCHEL...where is he??? Went all over the house looking for him, went back upstairs and smelt him out from under his BED. I say, "Why are you hiding from me??" Mitchel says, " I poopy!" Me, "I know." I can smell you all over the upstairs. Clean him up and think everything will be fine he just got distracted playing with the toys in Klara's room and decided to go in the underwear instead of going on the potty. Fine I understand this stuff happens, a first for him and we have been doing this for a while now.
Later that day I decided I needed a break so I would go to the gym. Didn't last long I was there for a total of 10 minutes, then the big loud speaker comes on, "WILL KAYSEA WADLEY PLEASE COME TO THE PLAYROOM." Uggg, well that's me. Go there and he has had another accident. Okay well let's go home I guess. The day just got worse. I am not going to bore you with it, but a bowl got broken, someone slapped someone (let me clarify this one, not me), someone poked someone in the eye, someone threw a wooden block at someone, and I yelled a lot.
OK time for some pictures. I am not sure why my son has to go to the bathroom like this but he does and I am also not sure why every child thinks they need the whole roll of toilet paper to wipe their bum, but they do. Enjoy!!

That is how I taught Eli to pee...facing backwards. I rather pee hit the back of the toilet than fly out and hit the floor, wall, etc.
Potty training is no fun! I hope it gets better for you. Can you request to get your tonsils out?
that is funny. I'm glad to know that poking and thrown toys and yelling alot doesn't happen to just me!
OOH! Yes Hopefully this month will be WAY BETTER. I don't know about the TONSILS out thing though girl.........ooh and your right-we may be family one of these days. Jeffery's been setting on marrying Lauryn for the past several years. He's pretty persistent!
I hope things get better for you. It is never fun being sick. Good luck with the potty training.
I really hope your October gets better! Being sick and having to do all of our mom duties is the worst.
Kaysea, cute blog! I found it on Josh & Megs's blog. I am glad you got your girl the 3rd time around, that is what I'm hoping for too! But if I have another boy, I am cool with being a football mom, no biggie. :-) Good to see how you're doing!
