1st day of School

Here is Bryce going to 4th grade and Mitchel starting his very first day of Kindergarten!! We are so proud of our two boys. It is a little sad sending them off but I know they will do great this year. Mitchel was very excited to go today and it was about 7:30 am and he was wondering why we weren't leaving. He was all ready to go and just waiting for the time to tick by. They both had a great day, besides the heat. Klara on the other hand had a trouble being nice this morning but it is an on and off button with her lately. Still love her and find it fun to take sad pictures of her.

Aunt Sara and Cousins HERE

My sister and her kids came to visit 2 times!! Well she was on her way to see our mom in CA and thought it would be fun to stop on the way there and on the way home!! It was so much fun having all these cousins together. They played so well together and swam of course. It was a gathering of Lauryn, Paige, Andy, and Bryce in one area of the house. Then Ryan and Mitchel were attached in another area of the house. Then Lizzy and Klara were just playing with girl stuff and little objects and lastly there was Max hanging out or napping. Sara and I got to catch up and visit. It was so great!! We miss them already and wish they could have stayed longer or that we lived close so we could see each other more.

The pictures are not in any order, just put them on cause the kids are soooo cute.

Some Little Things

Since it is summer and I am preggo. I have some extra time on my hands. I have been working on making the new baby some blankets. I finished some and have two more to finish. This is one. His room is actually blue and brown but I could not pass up these cute monkeys. I just love them.

This past Sunday I made some brownies for after dinner and the kids always want to LICK the bowl. Well I have a big kid when it comes to that as you can see. Klara is guarding here bowl and won't let anyone else have any. I guess he taught her right. If you get the bowl, take it and run. Mike does complain that I use the spatula too well because there is not much left when I put it in the pan to bake. I personally like them cooked than raw. I guess it depends on my mood too.

The Date

Finally I know the date when the baby will be here!!! I was hoping they would schedule it at my appointment yesterday. I have really gotten used to c-sections I guess. I really do enjoy the planning. It is not the best recovery but at least I know I have people here to help me. First week will be my mom and Mike and then the second week will be my dad and step mom. So excited to see Him and all the family!!! He will be arriving sometime on September 19th. I am so ready!!!

Our Summer of Boo Boos

Warning...some gross pictures!!

A couple of weeks ago we went to visit Granny and Papaw in California. Klara was sleeping and fell out of bed. There is really nothing for her to hit but the railing of the bed which means that she slid of the bed we are guessing. Well she got a cut right between her eyes. Why couldn't it have been and where else? Anyway it was more like a gash so we butterflied it and have been tending to it sense. Still not healed all the way, well I guess she is but I was hoping no scar.

This past week Bryce went hiking with a friend and fell and got a lot of boo boos. He was so great by not crying and getting all upset about it. They look much better now, a week later. He still has a hard time walking but I think that has to do with fear of bending his leg and braking open the wound. This past weekend Mitchel was being very helpful and bringing something out to us outside. He went to close the sliding glass door and his index finger was not in the right place, smash. Oh the wailing and the crying and the screaming in pain. Out of all three he was the worst at taking the pain. It was so sad and actually hard for me to bandage him up. After some consoling and bribing he finally let me look at it and bandage it up. it does not look good but I am sure he will survive. :)

I am hoping the kids will not get hurt anymore. Or can we at least wait till Summer is over?
