KaySea/Mom Bday

I turned a year older. No need to tell everyone how old, either you already know or don't need to know because everyone thinks I am too young and then I get made fun of, I am getting older though. A bit crazy this one: Mike is crazy busy with work and school. He had bids and finals and me and the kids to juggle with. I am very impressed that he got me flowers and a present in the middle of it all. One thing he didn't get was the CAKE. I am okay making them but not my own. But I don't really want to spend the money on one either and I don't want to see Mike's cake. I am sure it would be great but I will wait for that later in life. I made a great raspberry ice cream cake and ate it too. Here's some pictures!!

Happy Easter

We hope you all had a great Easter. Ours was so much better than last year. (I wasn't around much last year.) It was so fun seeing them see all their goodies. We dyed Easter eggs on Saturday. We weren't going to do too many and then ended up doing over 40. Let me tell you that is a lot of eggs, there are still a lot in my fridge. The kids had a blast doing it. The Easter bunny hid them all and we found them all, thank goodness.
Only took one picture because my camera battery died, aww man!

Bryce the morning of Easter. So I learned something new about this little boy today. He loves finding easter eggs. He always had to go after them. We were trying to help Mitchel and he would see where we would softly point and off he went. I felt kind of bad but we had to hold him back towards the end. We were all laughing, but never thought I would have to say stop.
Here is our SWEETIE and I mean he loves the Sweet stuff. He would have rathered sat and ate easter candy than do anyting else.
Our newest SWEETIE. Wow she may end up worse than Mitchel with the sweets. She is actually trying to hold all the candy at once. We eventually gave her a little purse she could put it all in.

All three, NONE looking at the camera. They are all looking at Mike. I have no idea what he was doing but it sure got their attention. Hope the rest of April is great for everyone. I am sorry for not posting sooner. As you can tell Klara does walk now. She started about the week after I posted my whinny message about her not walking. We are all so much happier now. A lot has happened and maybe I will go back and post about it all, OR not.

I thought girls were faster??

What has been bothering me the most lately??? Klara is not walking!! She will walk on her knees and she gets so upset when I try to walk with her. We try to use incentives but she just plops down and crawls. Ugghh, it is driving me wild!! I am almost to the point of not picking her up and see what happens, but then she gets hurt and I of course have to pick her up, or she will give me the weird smile and big tears and aww I have to pick her up again. I am such a softy. We have two other kids, BOYS, and they walked by their 13th month. Klara with be 14 months in a week!! What do I do??

A little irritated

I went to pick Bryce up from school today and thinking this is just a normal day, but no...not a normal day. A man in the car driving next to me while I am putting the kids in car starts yelling at another man across the street. I don't know what happened and I don't really care. The language they were using was uncalled for and I almost said something. I was really waiting for the guy in the car to get out when the one across the street asked him if he wanted to fight. Reminding you that these are two adult males with children that they have just picked up from school. Oh I really wish I would have said something but then the thought crosses my mind that these are already two large crazy mad men and what would I say to them that they would actually listen to. Ugghhh...I feel bad that I don't have enough confidence to stand up to people when I know they are wrong....I am just a little irritated.

What is this??

OK, so you have to click on the image to really see.

Every time I look at this I have to laugh. I was sweeping the other day and couldn't tell what it was till I bent over and then laughed after not having a good day. The kids probably put it there on purpose...at least that is what I am going to think. Nothing like being uplifted by a face looking up at you from the floor. Hmmm, I need to get out more.

Klaralyn turns ONE

Klara turned one on the 2nd. I am really late getting this in sorry. We got her all dressed up and decided to take her to Chuckee Cheeses. It is where we took the other two. Not sure why considering they can't do too much there but we take them anyway. She had a great time. She ate a whole piece of pizza and played a lot on the slides. Took her to the doctor today and found out all the good stuff.
Height: 30 1/4
Weight: 21lb. 9 oz.
Percentage: 79%
Sounds good to me. She has some problems with her skin, a bit dry. The Vegas weather really doesn't help. Here are the latest pictures of our little girl:)

She has already found a boyfriend. What are we gonna do??

Princess Party!! I am loving all the pink can you tell??
What a cutie. She really sat on the table and looked at her presents while the boys basically opened them all for her.

Ready for the cake!!

Now she is done!

Excuse the mess but she was so funny on the horse. She has the crazy hair from the cake and in her little birthday suit. Happy Birthday Klara!!

Christmas in Topeka, KS

This was Klara's first Christmas. We spent it with Mike's family in Topeka KS. A trip that I don't want to make very often just because it is so far away. Other than the long drive we had a lot of fun. Klara decided it was much more fun to sit on the presents than open them. I think she would have been happy playing with a box. Mitchel wanted to open every one's presents, and Bryce didn't think he got enough. He didn't remember that Santa visited Las Vegas too. We were glad to de-thaw in Vegas coming from the below freezing weather in KS.

These pictures speak for themselves. No one should be stuck in a car for 26 hours. Especially three small children and two tired and impatient adults. We drove straight through and spent 2 hours trying to get over the Dam on the way home. Needless to say we left a few bottles of yellow substance on the side of the road.

Yep, those lights way up in the right hand corner going up the hill are cars. This was our 5 mile bumper to bumper traffic at the Dam. See any bottles???
